Where community

becomes action.

At The Garzón School, our energetic Committees reflect who we are: a community that listens, includes, and acts together. Each committee brings parents, educators, and students to the same table — because student voice matters, and our learners sit on every committee. This collaborative spirit is more than a structure; it’s a culture. By gathering in ways that strengthen bonds and foster shared purpose, we not only pursue excellence inside the classroom but also shape meaningful experiences beyond it, living our mission of empowering changemakers.

  • Promote learning beyond the classroom with experiences that build resilience, confidence, and a deep connection to the natural world.

  • Turn purpose into action through bold projects rooted in empathy, responsibility, and inclusion, sparking connections that begin in Maldonado and ripple out to the world.

  • Foster curiosity and literacy by developing our library into a vibrant hub for resources, inquiry, creativity, and community learning.

  • Promote the arts at TGS through workshops, guest artists, exhibitions, performances, and more.
