No limits on
personal growth.
At The Garzón School, learning extends well beyond the classroom. Our Co-Curricular Programme — encompassing Pathways, Discovery, and W.I.L.D. — is designed to cultivate mastery, curiosity, and character in equal measure. Pathways invites students to pursue excellence through sustained high-level practice and mentorship. Discovery opens space for exploration, experimentation, and new interests. W.I.L.D. (Wilderness Immersion and Leadership Development) strengthens resilience, teamwork, and a deep connection to the natural world. Together, these strands ensure that every learner not only develops important skills, but also confidence and agency.
Co-Curricular Clubs 2026
-
Pathways Clubs at The Garzón School are designed for students who are dedicated to long-term skill development in a specific area. These clubs follow a structured multi-year progression, allowing students to build expertise over time through consistent participation. With clear learning milestones, expert guidance, and a commitment to mastery, Pathways provide a deeper, more immersive experience. They are ideal for students who want to refine their talents, take on new challenges, and achieve meaningful growth in a chosen field. Students can currently choose the developmentally-tailored weekly activities along three signature Pathways:
— Culinary Arts
— Media & Communications
— Performing Arts -
Discovery Clubs are designed to spark curiosity and widen horizons. Whether sporting, intellectual, creative, or service-oriented, these short-format experiences give students a meaningful “taster” of new pursuits without long-term commitment. The aim is simple: expose learners to diverse disciplines, uncover hidden interests, and build confidence in trying something unfamiliar. Discovery is about exploration — low stakes, high opportunity — so that students can better understand what energises them and where they may wish to go deeper in the future.
— Chess
— E-Scooter Polo
— Football
— Skateboarding
— Surfing -
W.I.L.D. (Wilderness Immersion and Leadership Development) is where challenge meets character. Through purposeful time in nature, students build resilience, teamwork, and practical leadership skills in real-world conditions. Whether navigating terrain, collaborating on shared tasks, or stepping forward to guide their peers, learners are stretched beyond comfort in ways that strengthen judgment, self-reliance, and responsibility. W.I.L.D. is not adventure for its own sake; it is a structured pathway to developing calm, capable young people who can lead outside their comfort zone.
